Workplace Health & Safety is at the forefront of all operations at Hunt’s Logistics and is a central component of creating a healthy and safe environment for employees, customers and the general public. Our commitment to regular and controlled safety and maintenance inspections, combined with preventative scheduling and planning, keeps our fleet in line with federal and provincial guidelines and policies.
Our fleet of drivers are continuously trained and educated on safety issues in the transportation industry. Our team of warehouse employees participate in daily tool box talks, regular safety inspections and specialised training.
The Joint Health and Safety committee works in conjunction with Hunt’s management and staff to create a safe work environment. Employees are trained to be proactive in identifying and dealing with health and safety hazards THROUGHOUT THE WORKPLACE.
